Scientific research suggests that the practice of mindfulness (a technique for learning to live in the present moment) can help individuals to gain clarity, reduce stress, optimize performance, and develop a greater sense of well-being. In this one day gathering we learn the ways mindfulness can strengthen inner resilience and cultivate courage and confidence in the face of workplace challenges. We’ll explore how these tools can help us teach students with diverse backgrounds and cultivate mindful leadership and intentional practice.

Through inspiring keynote lectures, question and answer sessions, group exercises and instruction in practical application, we explore:

  • The science supporting mindfulness
  • Supporting healthy and thriving school cultures
  • Ways of integrating mindfulness in your classroom and school district
  • How to heal the toxic workplace where anxiety and stress impede performance
  • The start a personal meditation practice to develop your innate leadership talents
