What are the benefits of mindfulness practice?
IS MINDFULNESS MEDITATION RIGHT FOR ME?
Anyone can practice mindfulness. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what physical shape you’re in, whether you’re religious or not. These practices are all about helping you restore your natural clarity and ability to be present; they’re about giving you back what you already have, about helping you show up fully for your life.
HOW MUCH CAN HAPPEN IN 3 HOURS?
I have taught these practices to thousands of people, and what amazes me over and over is the kind of change I see happen in a very short time. Over the course of the workshop I see people settle down, begin to change their perspective on life, and acquire simple tools that can benefit them for a lifetime. It's to give people this life-changing experience that I developed this 3-hour workshop.

Mindfulness: Shifting from Surviving to Thriving
I often think of mindfulness meditation as a form of mental fitness. We go to the gym to work on our body, why would we neglect our mind? Mindfulness is a practice we can use to bring ourselves back into our lives, to optimize our mental function and improve our health, focus, clarity, relaxation, productivity and joy.
In this 3 hour workshop, I will give you simple tools to help you:
- Shift from living on “automatic pilot” to living with greater awareness, presence, and intentionality
- Work with difficult, self-defeating, and ruminating thoughts
- Communicate and listen with greater mindfulness to family and friends.
- Stop your work life from bleeding into your personal life, and vice versa.
- Identify the root cause of stress and how mindfulness helps us manage it

- Reduces Anxiety
- Prevents And Treats Depression
- Increases Body Satisfaction
- Improves Cognition
- Helps us Stay Focused and Reduces Distractions
"I was skeptical to take this time out of my day. I'm so glad I did. It was the best investment of time and money I've made in the last 5 years." -L.M.

Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different; enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won’t).
